Nathanael Sobejko

Registered Psychologist and Clinical Director

​Nathanael is a Registered Psychologist who has a passion for assisting people of all ages. He works collaboratively alongside his clients to facilitate recovery and mental well-being. He has a passion for working within a trauma-informed approach and is well equipped to offer counselling for people experiencing grief and bereavement, as well as those suffering with depressive and anxious symptoms.

Nathanael has spent several years supporting young people who have experienced severe neglect and trauma and has also worked in a school environment. He applies a scientist-practitioner approach to client referrals and tailors his therapy to meet each individual's needs, priorities, and goals.

​

Recent practice for Nathanael has involved extensive work with NDIS clients, supporting and encouraging progress toward their goals in alignment with planning documents. He has a wealth of knowledge in assisting clients towards social and vocational goals and collaborates closely with families and other key advocates to provide comprehensive support for individuals registered with the NDIS.

​

Nathanael carefully and respectfully moves at the pace of the client, fostering trust and rapport whilst applying evidence-based and research driven approaches and interventions. He integrates the use of psychoeducation, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and solution focused therapies (SFT) in his practice.
